We’re looking for a Software Engineer focused on Product Experience and UX to help us craft elegant, high-impact user journeys across the Paynest platform. You’ll collaborate with Product and Design to implement frontend features, reduce friction, and drive intuitive workflows.

🎯 What You’ll Do
- Implement user-facing features with clean, reusable components and responsive design.
- Collaborate with Product and Design on flows, wireframes, and usability.
- Proactively identify UX friction and suggest scalable, thoughtful solutions.
- Ensure design consistency across devices, edge cases, and user states.
- Contribute to our component library and design system.
👤 You Are
- A frontend-leaning engineer with 1–3 years experience in modern web development (React, Vue, etc).
- Detail-obsessed and empathetic—you spot bad UX before users do.
- Fast, iterative, and feedback-driven—you want to get things in front of users quickly.
- Comfortable collaborating in cross-functional squads and giving design input.
- Opinionated about product quality and happy to own things end-to-end.
💼 Nice to Have
- Experience in B2B SaaS, especially fintech, HR, or workflow-heavy products.
- Familiarity with Tailwind, Figma, Storybook, or similar tools.
- Contributions to design systems or internal UI component libraries.
