We are a burgeoning & innovative Azores-based startup dedicated to creating and distributing premium, high-quality, and science-backed natural cosmetics. Leveraging the unique botanical resources of the Azores, we are on a mission to introduce innovative beauty solutions to the global market. We are seeking a dynamic Sales Manager/Business Development manager to spearhead our Offline sales initiatives, manage our presence at trade shows, and expand our physical sales channels.

Key Responsibilities:

● Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to enhance BAMandBOO’s market presence in Portugal and globally.
● Identify, negotiate, and close offline sales opportunities, establishing long-term partnerships with key stakeholders in the beauty and wellness sectors.
● Lead and expand the sales team, including hiring, training, and managing sales professionals, fostering a culture of success and continuous improvement.
● Oversee the planning, execution, and participation in trade shows and industry events, ensuring a strong and impactful brand presence.
● Collaborate with the marketing department to align sales strategies with broader marketing campaigns, product launches, and brand positioning efforts.
● Analyse market trends and competitor activities to adjust sales strategies accordingly and seize new opportunities.
● Manage sales forecasts, budgets, pricing and performance metrics, reporting directly to the Founders and other stakeholders with regular updates and strategic insights.
● Champion BAMandBOO’s values and vision, promote our commitment to sustainability, natural ingredients, and ethical business practices.

Qualifications:

● Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
● Minimum of 5 years experience in sales leadership roles, with a proven track record of achieving sales targets and expanding market presence.
● Experience in the cosmetics, wellness, or related industries is highly desirable.
● Strong leadership and team management skills, Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
● Willingness to travel nationally and internationally to meet clients, attend trade shows, and lead sales initiatives.
● Fluent in Portuguese and English; additional languages are a plus.
● Passionate about the Beauty and Sustainability industry.
