About the Role
We are seeking a Junior Electromechanical Engineer with a Mechanical Engineering background and strong skills in automation and electrical systems integration. You will play a key role in supporting the development, implementation, and optimization of Seamoretech’s Zero Liquid Discharge technology. This position offers hands-on exposure to system design, assembly, and control automation, with significant growth opportunities.
Responsibilities
- Support the mechanical design, assembly, and testing of desalination and brine recovery units.
- Implement and assist with automation systems for process control and equipment operation.
- Integrate electrical components and instrumentation into mechanical systems.
Perform system installation, calibration, and troubleshooting in pilot and commercial environments.
- Prepare and maintain technical documentation (schematics, wiring diagrams, manuals).
- Collaborate with senior engineers on continuous improvement of energy efficiency and reliability.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (mandatory). Additional master in automation/software similar.
- Knowledge and hands-on experience in automation, PLCs, sensors, and control systems.
- Familiarity with electrical integration of industrial equipment (pumps, valves, drives, instrumentation).
- Experience with CAD/CAE tools for mechanical design (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or similar).
- Strong problem-solving mindset, with ability to work in field and pilot deployments.
Flexibility to travel for installations and commissioning.
